PEEKSKILL MUSEUM IS REQUESTING BOARD CANDIDATES

The Peekskill Museum is seeking candidates for its Board of Trustees. This non-profit community historical organization is looking for volunteers who as team players can offer their practical experience or specialized skills such as public relations, museum methods, academic knowledge fund raising and grant writing.

Upon acceptance, a trustee becomes a voting member of the Museum Board, with its responsibilities and privileges. Created in 1946, this cultural organization operates with a charter from the New York State Education Department.

Those interested should submit a resume or background information, have an interest in history and volunteerism.

PEEKSKILL MUSEUM IS SEEKING A PUBLICITY EXPERT

The Peekskill Museum is seeking a member, or person willing to become a museum member, who can volunteer their active services with community events and program publicity.

This person would work primarily with the Events and Programs committee that meets once a month year round. Someone with previous experience in public relations, news writing, or general communications would be preferred candidates.
