The Peekskill Museum
The Peekskill Museum is a private not-for-profit organization.  The Peekskill Museum is always open to donations of talent, time and financial contributions.  We rely on both private and corporate financial contributions, bequeathments, membership dues and donations.  It is not funded from any governmental sources. 


Mission of the Peekskill Museum
The mission of the Museum is to collect, preserve, study, and interpret objects and documents pertaining to Peekskill and the surrounding areas.1. Collects and preserves artifacts, objects, publications, documents, photographs and other items related to Peekskill’s History from earliest settlement to the present.
2. Performs Maintenance of a research collection of past and current literature on Peekskill’s history.
3. Preserves and maintains the Herrick House as an example of 19th Century domestic architecture.
